Kwame Thomas is a young talented striker who has played for England at Under 16, Under 17 and Under 20 levels. He signed his first pro contract in the summer of 2014 for Derby County, after spending two years there as a scholar. He has joined League One side Blackpool on a short loan deal until January 2016. He is eager to impress. He was quoted saying 'My aim is just to work hard and try to get wins for the team. Hopefully, personally, I'll get some goals and recognition, and be the best i can be.'

Thomas played a full match for the England U-20s side, when they beat Ivory Coast 2-1 in the Toulon Tournament in France. He was drafted into the squad as a late replacement for former Derby loan player Jordan Ibe. Kwame scored his only goal for the U-20s national side in a 2-1 win over USA U-20s.
